Sales Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Sales Engineer will identify and pursue new business opportunities, prepare technical and commercial proposals, and deliver product presentations and demonstrations tailored to customer needs. The role involves providing technical support during pre- and post-sales activities, collaborating with engineering and operations teams to design solutions, and ensuring smooth project handover. The Sales Engineer will maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, respond to inquiries, and offer timely customer service. Regular reporting on market trends, competitor activities, and sales performance, as well as participation in industry events and client meetings, will be part of day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

Strong Technical skills, including the ability to translate technical features into business.

Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, with experience managing client relationships and handling inquiries and issues professionally.

Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Background in electrical, mechanical, or energy engineering, or a related technical discipline (bachelor's degree preferred).

Understanding of power generation, distributed energy systems, or industrial energy solutions is highly beneficial.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Comfort with on-site client visits, field work, and occasional travel within Indonesia.

Proficiency in standard office and presentation software is an advantage.
