Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer for Motor Industrial role based in Cengkareng. The Sales Engineer is responsible for identifying customer needs, presenting motor and related electrical solutions, preparing proposals, and following up to secure orders. Daily activities include visiting customers, conducting technical and commercial discussions, providing product demonstrations, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure accurate specifications and timely delivery. The role involves offering pre- and post-sales technical support, responding to inquiries, and troubleshooting basic application issues in collaboration with technical specialists. The Sales Engineer also maintains sales records, forecasts demand, participates in promotional activities, and helps build long-term customer relationships in the industrial motor segment.

Qualifications

Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to translate technical motor and electrical specifications into practical solutions.
Proven Sales and Customer Service abilities, including managing prospects, preparing quotations, negotiating, and maintaining client satisfaction.
Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, for delivering presentations, drafting proposals, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge of industrial motors, transformers, switchgear components, and basic electrical power systems is highly beneficial.
Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
Comfort working on-site in Cengkareng, with willingness to travel to customer locations as required.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet sales targets in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Previous experience in industrial sales, power systems, or electrical distribution is an advantage.
