Role Description The Sales Engineer – Data Center is a full-time, on-site role based in Tanjung Priok. This position is responsible for identifying and developing data center sales opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and presenting pump and system solutions to prospective and existing customers. Day-to-day tasks include conducting site visits, performing technical assessments, supporting product selection, and coordinating with internal engineering and service teams to ensure proper system design and implementation. The role also involves providing technical support during and after installation, handling customer inquiries, and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts. The Sales Engineer will prepare sales forecasts, contribute to pricing and negotiation, and support marketing activities related to data center solutions.

Qualifications

Strong Sales Engineering skills, including solution design, technical proposal preparation, and support for data center applications, HVAC.
Experience in Technical Support, troubleshooting, and coordination with engineering or service teams for complex systems.
Proven Sales capabilities, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, and negotiation with commercial and industrial clients.
Customer Service and Communication skills to build long-term relationships, manage expectations, and deliver clear technical and commercial information.
Educational background in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Understanding of data center infrastructure (cooling systems, power, and critical equipment) is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Sunter, travel to customer locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in using CRM tools, MS Office, and basic technical design or selection software.
Professional fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and working proficiency in English and Mandarin.
