Director Sales (SEA)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Director Sales (South East Asia) to lead revenue growth across key SEA markets. This role will own regional sales strategy, build and scale high-performing sales teams, and drive strong relationships with brands, agencies, and strategic partners.

The role is both hands-on and strategiccombining direct revenue ownership with team leadership and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue & Growth

  • Own and deliver regional revenue targets across SEA markets
  • Drive new business acquisition with brands, agencies, and trading desks
  • Expand existing accounts through upsell, cross-sell, and long-term partnerships
  • Build strong pipelines aligned to quarterly and annual goals

Market & Client Leadership

  • Act as the senior sales leader and face of mediasmart in the SEA region
  • Develop deep relationships with key agency groups, advertisers, and partners
  • Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights
  • Represent the company at industry events, client meetings, and conferences

Team Leadership

  • Build, mentor, and scale the regional sales team
  • Set clear goals, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks
  • Coach teams on solution selling, deal strategy, and negotiation
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative sales culture

Strategy & Collaboration

  • Work closely with global sales, product, marketing, and operations teams
  • Provide market feedback to influence product roadmap and go-to-market strategy
  • Support pricing, packaging, and regional GTM initiatives

Requirements & Experience

  • 1015+ years of experience in AdTech / MarTech / Digital Advertising sales
  • Strong background selling mobile, programmatic, or performance advertising solutions
  • Proven experience leading regional or multi-market sales teams
  • Established network with agency holding companies and key advertisers in SEA
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of closing large, complex deals
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growth, entrepreneurial environment
