About the Role
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Sales Representative / Sales Coordinator to help expand our customer base in the hardware, construction, marine, engineering, and retail sectors. Your main responsibility is to cold call businesses, identify purchasers/buyers, and introduce our range of hardware products (KTK, Gluck & OEM lines).
Requirements
- Preferably 12 years sales experience (B2B or hardware industry advantage).
- Strong communication and telephone etiquette.
- Confident in engaging decision-makers and handling objections.
- Independent, driven, and comfortable with cold-calling.
- Good organisational skills and ability to update records accurately.
- Positive, energetic, and willing to learn about hardware products.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience in hardware / construction / industrial supplies.
- Ability to read basic product specs (threads, sizes, materials).
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Outreach & Lead Generation
- Conduct cold calls to potential customers (hardware shops, contractors, wholesalers, engineering firms, factories).
- Identify and connect with the Purchasing Manager / Buyer of each company.
- Introduce our company's profile, product range, and value proposition.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable hardware products.
- Arrange follow-up calls, meetings, or product presentations.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Update customer information, call logs, and potential leads in the CRM / internal systems.
- Assist in preparing quotations, item lists, spec sheets, and sending catalogues to prospects.
- Coordinate with the internal team for samples, pricing, product info, and stock availability.
- Support ongoing sales deals by tracking orders, delivery timelines, and after-sales enquiries.
Relationship Building
- Build a pipeline of new B2B customers and maintain good relationships with existing clients.
- Follow up persistently to convert leads into active accounts.
- Provide good customer service and maintain a positive brand image.
Market Intelligence
- Gather feedback from customers on market trends and competitor offerings.
- Identify opportunities to introduce new product lines.
- Share insights with management to support sales strategy.
