Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Employee Benefits team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging prospective corporate clients, qualifying sales opportunities, and scheduling meetings for the Business Development team. You will play a key role in building a strong sales pipeline and contributing to business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify potential corporate clients through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, referrals, and other lead generation channels.
  • Conduct outbound activities to introduce the company's Employee Benefits Insurance solutions.
  • Qualify leads by understanding the company's employee size, insurance needs, renewal timeline, and decision-making process.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, Finance, Procurement, and senior management.
  • Schedule qualified meetings for the Business Development team and ensure smooth handover of sales opportunities.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to nurture relationships and maintain engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, activities, and sales opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to execute lead generation campaigns and improve conversion rates.
  • Achieve monthly KPIs related to prospecting activities, qualified leads, and meeting bookings.
  • Stay updated on Employee Benefits Insurance products, market trends, and competitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Inside Sales, Telemarketing, Telesales, or Lead Generation, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Experience selling or promoting insurance, employee benefits, healthcare, HR solutions, financial services, or SaaS is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable conducting outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and LinkedIn.
  • Ability to qualify prospects and identify business opportunities.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho CRM, or similar systems is an advantage.
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
