Job Main purpose
The Sales Operation Analyst serves as the critical operational and data bridge between regional sales areas, internal departments (Supply Chain & IT), and external partners (Distributors). This role is responsible for monitoring proposal statuses, tracking the Order to Cash (O2C) process, and providing analytical insights on stock, sales, expences, bad stock and demand vs. supply. Furthermore, the analyst ensures seamless cross-functional alignment to maximize data accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall sales visibility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Data Analysis
- Dashboard Updates: Daily update dashboard stock and sales performance.
- Reporting & Insights: Create analysis and comprehensive summaries based on the daily dashboard.
- Sales Alignment: Present and communicate these data-driven insights to the Sales Team to support their strategic decisions in the area.
2. Data Management & IT Integration
- Data Consolidation: Daily update stock and sales data from distributors into a single, standardized format.
- Distributor Alignment: Follow up and coordinate closely with Distributors to ensure data accuracy, resolve reporting discrepancies, and ensure timely submission.
- IT Coordination: Send the validated daily format securely to the IT team
3. Operational Monitoring & Tracking
- O2C Management: Monitoring and controlling the dashboard Order to Cash (O2C) tracker to ensure smooth operational flow and flag any bottlenecks.
- Proposal Tracking: Monitoring, tracking, and updating proposal statuses from the regional sales areas, ensuring all stakeholders are informed of the progress.
4. Supply & Demand Alignment
- Performance Tracking: Weekly update demand vs supply performance.
- Supply Chain Collaboration: Align with the Supply Chain team using the weekly data to identify potential risks (e.g., stock shortages or overstock at the distributor level) and propose corrective actions.
5. Trade Claims & Expense Analysis
- Analyze and validate claim expenses related to Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and Trade Activation System (TAS).
- Monitor, analyze, and process product returns and bad stock claims from distributors.
6. Process Improvement & Ad-hoc
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to automate or streamline reporting formats and O2C tracking processes for better efficiency.
- Complete other tasks assigned by superior management and the sales team.
