ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring Sales Consultants to engage and convert Indonesian sign-ups into active depositors. Youll be the first point of contact for users whove signed up but not yet deposited, using WhatsApp and calls to deliver relevant, insightful, and confidence-building conversations.
This is a remote role that requires market awareness, sales instinct, empathy, and discipline.
Location: Jakarta Office
Key Responsibilities
- Place outbound calls to users using Qontak or similar dialer
- Initiate and manage WhatsApp conversations using CRM-integrated workflows
- Identify user hesitations and deliver persuasive, insight-backed sales pitches
- Guide users through basic financial services processes, including KYC/registration
- Answer questions related to US stock market, macro news, or Gotrades value proposition
- Log outcomes and user feedback into the CRM to support data-driven refinements
- Collaborate with growth and marketing teams to improve targeting and scripts
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience in telesales or customer support in fintech, brokerage, banking, or e-commerce
- Strong familiarity with US stock market fundamentals (e.g., EPS, P/E ratio, sectors)
- Actively follows U.S. macroeconomic events (e.g., Fed announcements, inflation data, earnings)
- Confident explaining financial terms to beginner investors in Bahasa and English
- Comfortable navigating KYC flows and regulatory requirements for onboarding
- Friendly, persuasive communicator who can balance empathy with commercial urgency
- Self-motivated, organized, and reliable in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in telesales, customer service, or sales operations
- Strong written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia, with solid English comprehension
- Knowledge of basic brokerage or financial account opening requirements (KYC)
- Familiarity with CRM tools, WhatsApp Business, and call systems
- Strong home internet connection and quiet work environment
- Based in Indonesia and legally eligible to work
