Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Associate role based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Sales Associate will support the sales cycle from lead generation to order closing, including identifying potential customers, responding to inquiries, and maintaining regular contact with existing clients. The role involves preparing quotations, processing purchase orders, coordinating with logistics and warehouse teams, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Sales Associate will help maintain accurate sales records, update the customer database, and support the preparation of sales reports and forecasts. This role also includes collaborating with internal teams to address customer needs, resolve issues promptly, and contribute to after-sales service quality.

Qualifications

Strong sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and follow-up.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
Basic knowledge of marine, shipping, or industrial products is an advantage; willingness to learn technical product details.
Ability to manage multiple orders and tasks, with attention to detail and accurate documentation.
Comfort using office software and sales tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM systems, email platforms).
Minimum of a high school diploma; a diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer service is beneficial, especially in marine or industrial sectors.
Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to ethical and inclusive business practices.
