Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role based in Tangerang for a Sales & Marketing Manager at Grand Anara Airport Hotel. The role focuses on driving revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives tailored to the airport hotel segment, including transit passengers, airline crews, corporate travelers, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions).
The Sales & Marketing Manager will develop and execute targeted sales strategies, build strong partnerships with airlines, travel agents, online travel platforms, and airport-related businesses, and optimize occupancy through dynamic pricing and market-driven campaigns.
This role also requires deep understanding of short-stay/transit patterns, irregular flight situations (IRROPS), crew movement, and last-minute booking behavior, ensuring the hotel captures high-demand opportunities.
The position involves leading the sales team, monitoring competitor activities within the airport vicinity, and collaborating with operations to ensure seamless guest experience aligned with fast-paced airport hospitality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement sales strategies specific to airport hotel segments (airlines, crews, transit guests, OTA, corporate airport-related accounts)
- Build and maintain partnerships with: Airlines & ground handling companies, Travel agents & tour operators, Corporate clients around airport & logistics industries
- Maximize revenue through: Short stay & transit packages, Crew contracts & long-term agreements, Last-minute booking optimization
- Analyze market trends, flight patterns, and competitor pricing within the airport hotel cluster
- Lead, coach, and monitor Sales & Marketing team performance
- Execute marketing campaigns focused on high turnover occupancy & quick conversion channels (OTA, digital ads, partnerships)
- Coordinate with Front Office & Revenue team to ensure: Fast check-in/out process, Readiness for peak hours (early morning / late night flights)
- Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis
Qualifications- Minimum 35 years experience as Sales & Marketing Manager / Assistant Director of Sales in airport hotel or high-volume business hotel
- Strong understanding of airport hotel market segmentation, including: Airline crew & IRROPS business, Transit & short-stay guests, OTA-driven last-minute bookings
- Proven experience in handling airline contracts, crew business, and airport-related corporate accounts
- Strong skills in: Sales strategy & revenue generation, Client relationship management, Market analysis & competitor benchmarking
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment (24/7 hotel operations mindset)
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
