Role Description The Sales and Marketing Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Selong. The intern will support daily sales and marketing activities, including assisting with outreach to potential clients, preparing promotional materials, and helping organize local marketing campaigns for eye health services. Responsibilities include engaging with customers at the service center, answering basic inquiries, and providing information about available services and promotions. The intern will help the sales team with data entry, lead tracking, and simple reporting, while also supporting customer follow-up activities to increase satisfaction and retention. This role offers hands-on training, exposure to sales management practices, and the opportunity to learn how marketing strategies are implemented within a healthcare context.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Basic Sales abilities and an interest in developing Sales Management skills in a healthcare service environment.
- Willingness to participate in Training activities and apply feedback to improve performance.
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Selong and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets).
- Enthusiasm for learning about eye health services and contributing to community-focused initiatives.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
