OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Safety Supervisor (HSE Supervisor) responsible for the day-to-day implementation and monitoring of health, safety, and environment (HSE) requirements across the Data Center construction site in Indonesia. Reporting to the HSE Manager, this role ensures that all site activities are conducted safely and in compliance with Indonesian K3 regulations, project HSE plans, and international best practices.specification.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily HSE site inspections and safety walks across all active construction areas.
- Enforce site HSE rules, permit-to-work systems, and safe work method statements.
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-the-job HSE coaching to workers.
- Monitor contractor compliance with approved method statements and risk assessments.
- Investigate and document safety incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions; implement corrective actions.
- Maintain HSE site records including safety observation cards, permit logs, and incident reports.
- Support the HSE Manager in preparing weekly safety statistics and performance reports.
- Coordinate emergency drills, muster point checks, and emergency response readiness.
- Manage site environmental controls including waste segregation, noise, and dust management.
- Liaise with Indonesian K3 inspection officers during site visits and ensure corrective actions are addressed.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of HSE supervision experience on active construction sites.
- AK3 Umum (Indonesian K3 Umum) certification is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Indonesian HSE legislation including UU No. 1 Tahun 1970, PP 50/2012 (SMK3), and PUIL standards.
- Experience in enforcing permit-to-work systems, working-at-height, confined space entry, and hot work safety.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to engage workers at all levels.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certification is advantageous.
- Certificate or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or related discipline.
- Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English literacy preferred.
- Commitment to promoting a proactive, zero-harm safety culture on-site.
