Road Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing end-to-end billing activities for Road Logistics operations, ensuring timely invoice processing, billing accuracy, and effective coordination with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
How you create impact
- Manage end-to-end billing processes for Road Logistics shipments.
- Verify and validate billing data, supporting documents, and transportation charges prior to invoice issuance.
- Ensure invoices are issued accurately and within agreed timelines.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputed charges.
- Maintain billing records and supporting documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, transport providers, and internal teams on billing-related matters.
- Follow up on missing information, documentation, and billing approvals to ensure timely invoice completion.
- Address billing enquiries and provide resolution within agreed service levels.
- Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.
- Monitor billing volumes, outstanding items, and operational performance metrics.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance billing efficiency and accuracy.
- Support system enhancements, testing, and process improvement initiatives when required.
What we would like you to bring
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, freight forwarding, or billing operations.
- Experience handling Road Logistics or transportation billing is preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting.
- Experience using billing, ERP, TMS, or logistics systems.
- Good written and spoken English communication skills are required.
