Job Description

Business Function

Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Through our continued commitment, DBS has cultivated long-standing relationships with its customers in the region that are based on account relationship management, service differentiation, product development and rigorous credit standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored financial solutions
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities and cross-sell relevant products and services to existing clients
  • Collaborate with various teams within the bank to ensure seamless client experience and timely resolution of client queries
  • Actively participate in business development activities, such as networking events and client presentations, to generate new leads and expand the client base
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the bank's products, services, and policies to provide accurate and reliable information to clients
  • Contribute to the achievement of the team's sales targets and overall business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the banking or financial services industry
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with clients
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional client service
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and provide tailored financial solutions
  • Proficient in using relevant banking and financial software applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across different departments
