  • Perform a risk assessment: analysing and identifying potential risks that are affecting the company.
  • Evaluating the company's previous handling of risks, and comparing potential risks with criteria set out by industry best practice and compliance/ legal requirements.
  • Create, maintain, update, and communicate risk policies and processes to relevant stakeholders, including BCP and incident policies.
  • Create, maintain, and update risk register and other relevant documents for audit purposes.
  • Assure controls are in place and operating effectively.
  • Provide research and analytical support to other business functions.
  • Reviewing internal business/ new project proposals to see if any risks may arise and need mitigation plan.
  • Conduct third party audit in the purpose of GCG and ISO (sample-based).
  • Build and improve AML practice based on regulations and best practice.
  • Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the company.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4-6 years of experience in compliance and Legal (preferably within the fintech industry).
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations such as AML, KYC, and GDPR.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience with compliance software/tools is a plus.
