We work closely with business units to identify potential threats, develop effective mitigation strategies, and foster a strong risk-aware culture. With a proactive approach and deep industry knowledge, the team ensures compliance, protects stakeholder interests, and supports sustainable business growth in a fast-evolving financial landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate potential threats and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and analyses to identify vulnerabilities within the securities portfolio and operational processes.
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to anticipate potential impacts on the organization and adjust risk strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote risk awareness and develop a risk conscious culture throughout the organization.
- Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key risk metrics and recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
- Oversee the implementation of risk management software and tools to enhance data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field
- Have WPPE License
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Risk Management within the financial services or securities industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk management principles.
- Demonstrated experience in risk assessment methodologies and quantitative analysis.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
