Risk Assessment & Reporting Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Risk Assessment & Reporting Intern to support risk assessment, incident analysis, and regulatory reporting activities. This role will assist in managing risk-related data, identifying trends and patterns, and analyzing merchant and transaction risks to support effective risk management and assessment strategies.

The role will also contribute to regulatory reporting and process improvements through accurate data management and analysis.

You'll be working on:

• Collect and consolidate data and supporting documents for ERM & Risk Assessment.
• Perform preliminary checks on data and document completeness.
• Maintain risk assessment and incident databases.
• Identify recurring patterns and trends from risk and incident data.
• Assist in analyzing merchant and transaction risk behaviors.
• Support the preparation of risk insights for ERM & Risk Assessment strategies.
• Compile monitoring results, issue categorization, and supporting evidence for Komdigi reporting.
• Maintain accurate reporting trackers and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Final-year student from Management, Criminology, Finance, or other related fields, with no remaining classes.
• Available for a 6-month internship.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and common online fraud/scam trends.
• Basic understanding of fraud, risk management, or cyber-related threats is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI, automation, or data analysis tools is an advantage.
• Eager to learn and interested in digital fraud, risk, and online threat monitoring.
