Role Overview

The Risk & Compliance Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's overall risk management and regulatory compliance functions. This role ensures that all business activities, products, and operations comply with applicable laws, OJK regulations, and internal policies. The manager will lead the implementation of risk frameworks, monitor emerging regulatory requirements, drive AMLCFT compliance, and provide guidance to cross-functional teams. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the organization, reducing exposure to operational and regulatory risks, and maintaining a strong culture of compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the company's risk and compliance framework, including ERM, internal controls, and policy updates.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, legal, data, and strategic risks, ensuring mitigation plans are implemented.
  • Ensure full compliance with applicable laws, OJK regulations, and reporting requirements, including timely submission of regulatory reports.
  • Lead compliance reviews for new products, partnerships, and internal processes to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Conduct and oversee KYB assessments for partners, vendors, and merchants as part of the onboarding and ongoing monitoring process.
  • Oversee incident management, fraud prevention efforts, and investigations of potential violations.
  • Provide compliance and risk-related guidance, training, and updates to internal stakeholders and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
  • 58 years of experience in Risk or Compliance within financial services or regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of OJK regulations, regulatory reporting, compliance due diligence, and familiarity with KYB activity/assessment; familiarity with AMLCFT frameworks and contract review would be an advantage.
  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and propose practical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
  • Preferred: certifications such as CAMS, GRCP/GRCA, or ISO 27001-related credentials.
