Lead and oversee SPX's Risk & Compliance framework, ensuring effective implementation and ongoing monitoring
Identify and assess enterprise risks, and partner with business teams to develop practical mitigation strategies
Develop and maintain company policies, SOPs, and compliance standards in line with regulatory and business requirements
Plan and manage internal and external audits, including regulatory and ISO-related audits
Support and drive ISO certifications (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 9001) and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, providing clear guidance to internal stakeholders
Act as a key point of contact with regulators, government bodies, and relevant industry associations
Monitor, report, and escalate key risk and compliance issues to management to support informed decision-making
Requirements
Minimum bachelor's degree in Accounting/Fiscal Administration from reputable 35 years of relevant experience in risk management, compliance, audit, legal, or government relations; experience in logistics or operations-driven industries is a plus
Demonstrated experience in building, strengthening, or scaling risk and compliance processes within an organization
Good understanding of governance, regulatory, and compliance frameworks, including exposure to ISO standards (e.g. ISO 27001, ISO 9001)
Familiarity with working with regulators, government bodies, or external stakeholders
Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance
High integrity, structured and detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to balance compliance requirements and business objectives
