Ripening Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control the banana ripening process using ripening rooms.
• Adjust temperature, humidity, and ethylene gas levels to ensure optimal ripening.
• Inspect banana quality, ripeness levels, and any signs of damage or spoilage.
• Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, and warehouse teams to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of ripening schedules and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance of ripening equipment and facilities.
• Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in banana ripening, fruit handling, or food production is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ripening techniques, ethylene gas application, and storage conditions.
• Able to work in cold storage environments or controlled-temperature rooms.
• High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move banana crates/other fruit containers.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willing to be assigned to Sukabumi
