Key Responsibilities :
Support in Revenue Strategy Execution:
- Assist the Revenue Manager in implementingrevenue optimization strategiesby ensuring accurate data entry and coordination across all platforms.
- Help monitorADR (Average Daily Rate),RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), and other key performance metrics to track property profitability.
Pricing and Availability Updates:
- Ensuredynamic pricingis updated in real-time on all OTA platforms based on the Revenue Managers guidance.
- Assist in managingseasonal pricing modelsandpromotional offers, updating rates and availability across OTAs (Airbnb,Booking.com, etc.).
Market Research Assistance:
- Conduct basicmarket and competitor analysis, gathering data on pricing trends, occupancy rates, and competitor offerings.
- Provide the Revenue Manager with summarized data and insights to support pricing and strategy adjustments.
OTA Platform Management:
- Maintain property listings across OTA platforms, ensuringpricing, availability, and promotionsare correctly reflected.
- Help monitor platform performance and flag any discrepancies or issues related to listings, rates, or availability.
Reporting and Data Entry:
- Assist in preparingrevenue reportsby compiling data on key metrics like occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
- Ensure accuracy in data entry and tracking in the companysRevenue Management System (RMS)and other tools.
Collaboration with Internal Teams:
- Coordinate with the reservations team to maintain accuratecalendar synchronizationand ensure pricing consistency across platforms.
- Help resolve overbooking risks and support optimal marketing of properties.
Support in Forecasting and Budgeting:
- Assist in gathering historical data and market trends to aid the Revenue Manager in creatingrevenue forecastsand budgeting reports.
- Organize data from various systems and sources to help project future demand and pricing strategies.
Documentation and Process Support:
- Maintain accurate records of revenue management processes, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist in updatingprocess manualsand ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and aligned with current practices.
Technology and System Management:
- Support the Revenue Manager in usingRevenue Management Systems (RMS)andProperty Management Systems (PMS)by managing system updates and data input.
- Stay informed about system functionalities and assist with troubleshooting or resolving any issues.
Qualifications Required
- Experience in data entryand working with revenue or property management systems (RMS, PMS).
- Basic knowledge ofrevenue management principlesand pricing strategies, ideally within the vacation rental or hospitality industry.
- Strongorganizational and analytical skillsto support market research and reporting.
- Familiarity withOTA platforms(Airbnb,Booking.com, etc.) and understanding of listing management.
- Proficiency inExceland other data management tools for tracking key metrics and preparing reports.
- Excellentattention to detailand accuracy in managing pricing, availability, and performance data.
- Strongcommunication skillsto collaborate with teams and support problem resolution across departments.
