Job Summary
As a Lead within the Financing RGM department's Business Strategy & Planning function, you will play a pivotal role in aligning Traveloka's business operations with its mission and goals, leveraging the team's focus on pricing, growth, and strategic initiatives to deliver impactful outcomes. Your work will bridge the Financing domain's needs with cross-functional efforts to identify market opportunities, optimize strategies, and drive sustainable value for travelers and partners.
Job Description
- Responsible for Traveloka's Financing arm P&L related to loan recoverability aspects, including working with, but not limited to, credit, collection, and fraud divisions
- Be accountable for managing budget and financial goals for the above domains
- Closely track day-to-day activities and business performance against set budget, and course-correct accordingly when necessary
- Gain an in-depth understanding on the industry and market dynamics; with ability to propose solutions catered specifically for Traveloka - particularly through risk/fraud acceptance optimization and collection activities
- Use judgement to balance between enjoying immediate business results vs. investing for future growth in business prioritization
- Design ever-improving credit loss provisioning methodology (including but not limited to expected loss) that meets the IFRS 9, PSAK 71, and other applicable requirements.
- Analyze internal data, macroeconomics variables, perform calculations, and take decisions on the amount that needs to be provisioned each month based on forward-looking default probability.
- Perform & verify quality control in terms of data quality, reconciliation and analyzing of report results.
- Support the business and risk reporting needs with respect to Credit Quality including, impaired loan levels, provision for credit losses, write-offs etc.
- Responsible for the ongoing interpretation of policies and guidelines issued by the accounting and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of working experience
- Experience in bank/credit/loan/BNPL companies, and familiarity with the latest PSAK/IFRS standard
- Experience in Big 4 accounting firms is a plus
- Possess Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business fields from top local or overseas universities with minimum GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Experience working in a multi functional environment (e.g. product, growth, data, risk, ops), including external stakeholders (e.g. auditor, regulator)
- Financially sound, with proven ability to develop complex financial models and projection with sensitivity analysis
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with proven ability to identify root causes and potential remedies for corrective or preventive actions
- High level of English and Excel proficiency is a must
