Waterbom Bali is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to lead a large-scale, premium retail operation across multiple outlets. The successful candidate will oversee a sizeable team, drive commercial performance, and ensure exceptional customer experiences in a high-volume, high-end environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead multi-outlet retail operation
- Oversee the day-to-day management of multiple retail locations, ensuring consistent execution, service standards, and operational excellence across all outlets.
Drive commercial performance
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, profitability, conversion, and average transaction value while achieving business targets.s
Manage large team
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for a substantial retail workforce, including supervisors, team leaders, and frontline staff
Elevate the customer experience.
- Ensure a premium, customer-centric shopping experience that aligns with a high-end brand positioning and guest expectations
Optimize retail operations
- Maintain excellence in inventory management, stock control, merchandising, loss prevention, and operational compliance across all outlets
Develop and execute retail strategies
- Identify market opportunities, seasonal trends, and growth initiatives to enhance retail performance and guest engagement
Manage budgets and financial control
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and operating costs to ensure financial discipline and sustainable profitability
Build cross-functional collaboration
- Partner closely with operations, marketing, finance, procurement, and HR to support business objectives and operational efficiency
Ensure compliance and standards
- Maintain adherence to company policies, health and safety requirements, and retail best practices across all locations
Lead change and continuous improvement
- Drive operational improvements, process optimization, and innovation within a complex retail environment
Requirement
- 10+ years of progressive retail management experience, including significant experience leading large, multi-site operations
- Demonstrated success managing large teams and complex retail environments with strong commercial results
- Experience in premium, luxury, hospitality, or destination retail environments is highly desirable
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management capabilities
- Proven ability to analyze performance metrics and translate insights into actionable business strategies
- High level of operational discipline, professionalism, and customer focus
