SENIOR COMMUNICATION LEAD

Location: Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia

Scope: Coral Eye & Siladen Resort & Spa

Salary range: IDR 15,000,000–22,000,000/month, depending on experience plus benefits.

As Coral Eye and Siladen Resort & Spa enter a new chapter together, we are looking for a Senior Communication Lead to help shape and lead the communication of both properties, while developing and implementing a clear communication strategy across our main channels.

We are looking for an experienced candidate who can plan, create, coordinate and manage communication activities independently, while working closely with the teams of both properties and external content creators.

The ideal candidate is already based in Manado or is willing to relocate to Manado.

The role requires regular travel between Manado, Coral Eye and Siladen Resort & Spa, depending on the needs of each property and the communication calendar.

All work-related travel and associated transportation costs, including trips between Manado, Coral Eye and Siladen Resort & Spa, will be covered separately by the company

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

*Social Media Strategy & Management*

* Analyse the current social media accounts of both Coral Eye and Siladen and identify areas for improvement.

* Develop and implement a social media strategy for both resorts

* Develop a monthly editorial plan, defining an appropriate frequency of posts and stories while focusing primarily on content quality, objectives and results rather than simply reaching a fixed number of posts.

* Coordinate with external content creators, providing clear ideas and briefs on what content should be filmed or photographed when they are on location.

* Keep photo and video library organised and up to date, and use the available material to independently create content when needed.

* Write and adapt copy for different social media channels.

* Monitor social media performance and prepare monthly reports, using the results to adjust and improve the strategy.

Newsletter

* Develop the newsletter strategy and editorial calendar.

* Plan and create newsletters covering news and updates.

* Coordinate with the Reservations team for newsletters related to offers, packages and events.

* Write and edit newsletter content.

* Monitor newsletter performance and use the results to improve future communication.

Public Relations & External Communication

* Support relationships with diving and travel magazines

* Identify relevant opportunities for media coverage, features and collaborations.

* Prepare press releases when needed.

* Keep media kit and press contact list up to date.

* Keep the press folder organised, including published articles and media coverage.

Website & Blog

* Develop and maintain an editorial plan for the Coral Eye blog.

* Coordinate and/or write blog articles and ensure they are properly published and updated.

* Update website pages when needed

* Develop an SEO content strategy and identify topics that can improve Coral Eye webiste visibility through organic search.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

- Experience developing and managing social media strategies.

- Previous experience in communications, content, digital marketing or a related field.

- Data-driven mindset and ability to use performance results to improve communication.

- Good understanding of website content and SEO.

- Strong writing and storytelling skills in English.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple communication activities.

- Strong organisational and coordination skills.

- Comfortable working with external photographers, videographers and content creators.

A plus

* Experience with SEO and SEO-focused website content.

* Experience with Google Analytics and/or Google Search Console.

* Previous experience managing Google Ads campaigns.
