Reservation Supervisor:
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage all room reservations, including individual and group bookings, rooming lists, requests, and overbooking situations according to company guidelines.
Monitor daily booking activity, pickup trends, cancellations, and booking pace to support revenue decisions.
Monitor OTA extranets and distribution channels to ensure accurate rates, availability, restrictions, and content across all platforms.
Ensure timely and professional responses to guest inquiries across email, OTA messaging platforms, and direct booking channels.
Ensuring accuracy across PMS, Channel Manager, and Booking Engine systems
Ensure accurate data entry, maintain an organized filing system, and monitor booking records including group blocks and room availability.
Support revenue optimization by coordinating with other departments to maximize room sales, yield, and average room rate through upselling and inventory management.
Ensure all Reservations employees deliver the brand promise and provide exceptional service to customers
Handle guest and internal inquiries or complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring issues are resolved satisfactorily.
Support business planning, forecasting, and participate in revenue management and yield meetings to optimize performance.
Train and guide the reservations team while maintaining strong collaboration with other departments and booking partners.
Assist in preparing and updating the Reservations Department Operations Manual when necessary and attend regular departmental meetings and briefings.
Support direct booking initiatives by assisting with website booking engine promotions and guest conversion strategies.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years experience in reservations
- Strong working knowledge of PMS, Channel Manager, OTA extranets, and Booking Engines
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and service-minded
- Proactive team player with strong coordination and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised, able to multitask, and calm under pressure
- A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with a professional and guest-focused approach.
- Ability to supervise, train, and motivate a reservations team to maintain service and operational standards.
