Research and Development Staff

Function & Role :

• Product Formulation & Development:
• Formulate and modify ceramic digital inks, pigments, and liquid chemical additives to match the specifications of inkjet machines and the firing profiles of local clients.
• Adjust fluid rheology (viscosity, surface tension, particle size, and dispersion stability) to prevent sedimentation or printhead clogging.
• Formula Localization & Material Testing:
• Adapt Altadia's global R&D standard formulations to optimize them according to the availability of local raw materials and operational climate conditions in Indonesia.
• Conduct research on raw material substitution to drive cost reduction efforts without compromising color saturation or adhesion quality.
• Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
• Identify root causes of technical issues during printing or ceramic decoration defects, both at the laboratory scale and during industrial trials at customer plants.
• Collaborate with the Technical Service team for rapid color matching and prompt correction of rheological parameters.
• Quality Control & Laboratory Standardization:
• Establish standard testing parameters for non-frit products utilizing laboratory instruments such as Rheometers, Particle Size Analyzers (PSA), and Spectrophotometers.
• Ensure all formulations comply with environmental and chemical safety regulations.

Requirement :

• Bachelor degree (S1) in Faculty Chemical Engineering, Faculty Chemistry Science, Faculty Materials Engineering, Faculty Metallurgical Engineering
• Good command of English both verbal and written
• Prefer having experience in ceramic industry, Other field minimum 2 years experience but fresh graduate will be consider
• Prefer in technical support, sales, R&D or QC
• Mature and high confident
