Job Description

Responsibilities

- Develop new product formulations and improve existing ones in taste, texture, stability, and cost efficiency.

- Conduct laboratory trials (bench tests) for powder-based and ready-to-consume products.

- Prepare product samples for internal evaluation and organoleptic testing.

- Perform stability tests including pH, color, aroma, solubility, viscosity, and shelf-life.

- Select suitable raw materials (flavors, sweeteners, stabilizers, colorants, functional ingredients) for formulation needs.

- Coordinate with suppliers regarding raw material samples and technical data.

- Create formulation documents, raw material specifications, and standard procedures for production.

- Support production scale-up trials and provide recommendations based on trial outcomes.

- Ensure all formulations comply with BPOM, Halal, and food safety regulations.

- Conduct research on market trends, competitor products, and new ingredient innovations.

Qualifications

- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Food Technology/Chemical Engineering or other relevant field.

- At least 1 year of R&D experience in the food/beverage/supplement industry.

- Understanding of GMP, HACCP, BPOM, Halal, ISO 22000, etc. principles.

- Understanding of sensory testing principles.

- Strong attention to detail.

- Good communication skills.

- Good problem-solving skills.
