Job Description

Reporter (Economic & Business) will be responsible for producing daily news content related to economic and business topics. The role involves conducting coverage, finding and interviewing sources, writing articles, and creating engaging content for IDN Times readers.

Responsibilities

1. Conduct daily reporting and coverage on economic and business topics.

2. Research and develop story ideas based on current trends.

3. Find, contact, and interview relevant sources.

4. Write articles based on editorial targets and deadlines.

5. Edit content, including basic video editing using CapCut.

6. Ensure content accuracy, quality, and adherence to editorial standards.

7. Collaborate with editors and the editorial team.

Requirement

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a reporter/journalist, preferably in economic and business coverage.

2. Strong writing and storytelling skills in Bahasa Indonesia.

3. Experienced in conducting interviews and news gathering.

4. Good understanding of economic and business topics.

5. Able to work under deadlines and meet daily article targets.

6. Basic video editing skills using CapCut or similar tools are preferred.

7. Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced media environment.
