Job Summary
The Repair & Maintenance Operations Controller – HVAC is responsible for reviewing and coordinating HVAC repair and maintenance requests before they are submitted to Procurement.
The role ensures that HVAC requirements, specifications, quantities, scope of work, and cost estimates are accurate and complete. The position works closely with stakeholders to ensure HVAC materials, spare parts, and services are sourced efficiently and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review HVAC repair and maintenance requests from stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits when required to verify HVAC requirements.
- Check HVAC specifications, quantities, and scope of work.
- Prepare and review BOQ, material take-offs, and cost estimates.
- Validate HVAC spare parts, materials, equipment, and service requirements.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to clarify HVAC technical requirements.
- Prepare complete documentation for submission to Procurement.
- Support Procurement in reviewing supplier and contractor quotations.
- Monitor HVAC maintenance costs and budgets.
- Recommend cost-effective repair or replacement solutions.
- Maintain records of HVAC assets, maintenance requests, costs, and completed works.
- Support planning for HVAC repair, replacement, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure all HVAC documentation follows company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HVAC, Quantity Surveying, Facilities Management, MEP, Maintenance, or Construction.
- Good knowledge of HVAC systems, spare parts, materials, and maintenance works.
- Strong experience in BOQ, material take-offs, quantity checking, and cost estimation.
- Experience coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, Facility Management, contractors, and vendors.
- Good knowledge of budgeting and cost control.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
