Job Description

We're Hiring Reliability & Inspection Engineer!

Join Panca Amara Utama and contribute to the safety, integrity, and reliability of the Banggai Ammonia Plant.

The Reliability & Inspection Engineer is responsible for supporting equipment reliability, statutory compliance, condition monitoring, inspection planning, and plant turnaround activities. This site-based role will work closely with the R&I Lead to improve equipment performance, production uptime, and maintenance effectiveness.

Work Location: Banggai Ammonia Plant, Kabupaten Banggai

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in reliability, inspection, or mechanical integrity
  • Experience in ammonia, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, energy, or manufacturing industries
  • Good understanding of Risk-Based Inspection, Reliability-Centered Maintenance, and equipment criticality assessment
  • Knowledge of Indonesian mechanical regulations and international standards, including ASME, ANSI, API, and ASTM
  • Familiarity with welding inspection, NDT methods, vibration monitoring, and equipment condition assessment
  • Experience in Root Cause Analysis and equipment failure investigation
  • Proficient in CMMS, preferably Maximo, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and collaboration skills
  • Physically fit and willing to perform field and site inspection activities

Job Responsibilities

  • Support plant safety, reliability, quality, production uptime, and team development objectives
  • Ensure plant equipment complies with statutory regulations, applicable standards, and company specifications
  • Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans for process, structural, and civil assets
  • Monitor predictive and preventive maintenance activities and assess equipment conditions
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on inspection and condition-monitoring findings
  • Oversee inspection, repair, rectification, and equipment certification activities
  • Conduct failure analysis and prepare reports with corrective and preventive action recommendations
  • Support statutory inspections, equipment criticality reviews, Management of Change, and turnaround preparation
  • Maintain inspection reports, equipment history, calibration schedules, and relevant documents in Maximo
  • Participate in audits, follow up on findings, implement SMK3 and SML requirements, and report unsafe conditions
