Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative, results-driven, and professional Regulatory Officer to join Rich's family. This great opportunity is best suited for an energetic and aspiring person who wants to be part of a global organization. Reporting directly to the SRA Manager. The ideal candidate will provide regulatory expertise and support, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Product and Additive Review

  • Determine the appropriate food category and assess product compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Identify the relevant regulations and ensure products and food additives comply with regulatory requirements.

2. Raw Material and Packaging Material Review

  • Review raw material and packaging specifications, as well as supporting documents, to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations before approval for use in new product development (NPD).

3. Document Compilation and Review for Product Registration

  • Compile and review all documents required for product registration submissions.
  • Ensure that all submitted documents are accurate, valid, and complete.

4. Labeling Review

  • Review product artwork and labels to ensure compliance with applicable labeling regulations and requirements.

5. Product Registration and Renewal

  • Manage the registration, amendment, and renewal processes for local and imported products with the Directorate of Processed Food Registration, BPOM.

6. Special Permit Application

  • Apply for special permits related to food additives and other regulated materials with the Directorate of Standardization, BPOM.

7. Regulatory Monitoring

  • Monitor updates on local and export regulations, as well as emerging regulatory issues, and communicate relevant changes to stakeholders.

8. Import Certificate (SKI) Application

  • Prepare and submit applications for Import Certificates (Surat Keterangan Impor/SKI) to BPOM.
  • Ensure all submitted documents are accurate, valid, and complete for each imported raw material subject to BPOM HS code requirements.

9. Dairy and Sodium Caseinate Quota Management

  • Submit applications for import recommendations (Surat Rekomendasi Pemasukan) to the Ministry of Agriculture.
  • Prepare and submit import realization reports for each sodium caseinate shipment.
  • Prepare and submit monthly sodium caseinate usage reports for production purposes.

10. Veterinary Control Number (NKV) Certificate Renewal

  • Manage the application and renewal process for NKV certificates with the Ministry of Agriculture.

11. CPPOB Certification Management

  • Coordinate the application and renewal process for CPPOB certification with BPOM.
  • Experience in Risk Management Program (PMR) certification is preferred.

12. Third-Party Laboratory Test Review

  • Review third-party laboratory test results and ensure that analytical parameters comply with food regulations for government submission purposes.

13. External Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including BPOM, the Ministry of Agriculture, GAPMMI, and other relevant authorities.

14. Regulatory Documentation Management

  • Maintain and organize all documents related to regulatory activities and submissions.

15. Audit Support

  • Participate in audits conducted by government authorities, certification bodies, customers, and suppliers.

16. Additional Responsibilities

  • Carry out any other tasks assigned by management or immediate supervisors.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field.

2. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), or the food and beverage industry.

3. Strong knowledge of Indonesian food regulations and standards, including BPOM requirements, food labeling regulations, and food additive regulations.

4. Experience in product registration, amendment, and renewal processes with BPOM for local and imported products.

5. Familiarity with food safety standards and certification systems, such as CPPOB, HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, and NKV.

6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with external stakeholders and government authorities.

8. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

9. Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.

10. Experience in handling audits conducted by government agencies, certification bodies, customers, and suppliers is an advantage
