Oversee the procurement of Fresh Goods (Fruits & Vegetables, Meat & Fish) and FMCG products, both imported and local, in alignment with the companys product range and sales targets.
Ensure all Fresh & FMCG products meet quality standards while maintaining competitive pricing.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, build strong partnerships, and negotiate favorable terms to optimize cost efficiency.
Monitor and manage quality control (QC) processes for procured products to uphold company standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with stores, ensuring effective communication and execution of strategies, promotions, clearances, and key focus areas.
Prepare and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reports on procurement spending and category performance.
Qualifications
Minimum Diploma degree (D3) in any field.
Have experience min. 3 years in merchandiser, purchasing or buyer roles, preferably within the retail, supermarket, or hypermarket industry.
Strong understanding of Fresh products, market trends, and consumer preferences.
Highly honest, responsible, proactive, and creative, with a strong work ethic.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Able to thrive under tight deadlines and adapt to the fast-paced, ever-evolving retail industry.
Proficiency in English is essential.
Domicile in Middle / East Java - Surabaya area is MUST.
