Competencies
- Experience in compiling regional economic studies and analyzing regional economic and fiscal fundamentals.
- Experience conducting policy research, preparing analytical reports, or producing economic publications.
- Experience working in a research institution, development financial institution (DFI), economic consultancy, university, or other credible research institution is preferred.
- Understanding of regional fiscal policy and central-regional financial relations.
Qualifications
- Professional experience in regional economic research and leading research teams related to regional economic development for min. 7 years.
- Mastery of research methodology, especially quantitative research, for regional economic analysis.
- Strong written communication skills for preparing insight papers, policy briefs, and research reports.
- Experience working in a research institution, development financial institution (DFI), economic consultancy, university, or other credible research institution is preferred.
Required Skills
- On-hand experience with quantitative tools for data processing.
- Experience in analyzing research data comprehensively and translate it into relevant knowledge products.
- Familiarity with development impact evaluation or input-output analysis is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary, multi-institutional, and multicultural environment.
- Able to present and disseminate analytical results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication skills in English, both oral and written.
