PT. Teknologi Weldim Indonesia, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RBI Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an RBI Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our clients assets within the Oil & Gas industry. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Remaining Life Assessments (RLA), Risk Based Inspections (RBI), and Fitness For Service (FFS) evaluations for critical equipment such as piping, pressure vessels, tanks, and pipelines. Furthermore, you will utilize your expertise to investigate failures, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions to prevent future incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Remaining Life Assessment (RLA), Risk Based Inspection (RBI), and Fitness For Service (FFS) analysis for piping systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines, adhering to industry best practices and relevant codes.
- Meticulously analyze inspection data, process parameters, and material properties to determine the remaining lifespan and potential failure mechanisms of critical equipment.
- Develop comprehensive inspection plans based on risk assessments, optimizing inspection frequency and techniques to minimize operational disruptions and maximize asset reliability.
- Conduct thorough failure investigations, utilizing root cause analysis methodologies to identify contributing factors and recommend corrective actions.
- Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, including PFDs, P&IDs, and isometric drawings, to understand system configurations and identify potential areas of concern.
- Prepare detailed technical reports outlining assessment findings, recommendations, and proposed mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including inspection personnel, maintenance engineers, and operations staff, to ensure the effective implementation of integrity management programs.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements, emerging technologies, and regulatory updates related to RBI, FFS, and asset integrity management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our RBI procedures and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field).
- Proven experience (3+ years) in conducting RLA, RBI, Asset Integrity, and Life Extension Studies within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Strong understanding of API 580, API 581, API 570, API 510 and ASME codes and standards related to pressure equipment and piping integrity.
- Proficiency in interpreting PFD, P&ID, and isometric drawings.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong documentation and report writing skills.
