What you'll do and what success looks like in this role:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to formulate Relationship Banking business plans, including loan, funding (CASA/TD), and fee-based income growth projections, based on in-depth analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and strategic partnership opportunities.
- Develop and monitor business portfolios by analyzing financial performance and recommending strategic initiatives to achieve business targets.
- Manage the assessment and implementation of branch network development initiatives, including branch openings, closures, and relocations, through cost-benefit analysis, customer acquisition potential evaluation, and operating cost efficiency reviews.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive and timely performance reports and strategic insights to senior management to support informed decision-making.
- Represent Relationship Banking (RB) in cross-functional strategic projects to ensure growth and efficiency initiatives are executed on schedule and within budget.
What Is Required and What We're Looking For
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in any major
- At least 5 years of experience in business planning, strategy, or corporate finance, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of business planning, portfolio analysis, financial forecasting, and branch network management.
- Proven track record in developing business plans, analyzing financial performance metrics (including loans, deposits, fee-based income, RORWA, and CIR), and providing data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform in-depth data analysis, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other business intelligence and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Demonstrates a proactive attitude, strong attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset to support the achievement of Relationship Banking objectives and targets.
