R&D Staff

Job Description:

• Develop new products in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of raw materials from new suppliers and collect all required supporting documentation.
• Develop and maintain Raw Material and Finished Product Specifications.
• Be responsible for product review and evaluation processes.
• Prepare and maintain Technical Data Sheets (TDS) and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Prepare specifications for new product samples in accordance with product requirements.
• Conduct testing and evaluation of third-party products.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
• Ensure all technical data is properly documented and maintained in an organized record-keeping system.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control (QC) team regarding new QC specifications or specification upgrades, subject to approval from the R&D-QC Manager.
• Review and implement technology transfers from the group or affiliated companies.
• Perform color matching based on customer samples and internal color standards.
• Operate color measurement instruments and analyze color using the CIELAB color space system (L*, a*, b*) and Delta E (ΔE) values.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on product development, testing, and analysis activities.

Job Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in R&D and/or QC in the construction chemicals, cement, or coatings industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a positive personality
