Role Description The Quantity Surveyor role at PT Wiratama Indramayu Perkasa is a full-time, on-site position based in North Cikarang. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), monitoring project costs, and supporting cost planning and budgeting throughout the project lifecycle. Daily activities include tracking expenditures, assisting in tender preparation and evaluation, verifying quantities and measurements, and preparing regular cost and progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients. The role also involves coordinating with the project team and suppliers, ensuring that cost data is accurate, contracts and variations are properly documented, and financial risks are identified and managed. The Quantity Surveyor is expected to maintain clear documentation, adhere to company standards, and contribute to efficient cost control and project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in BOQ preparation and quantity measurement, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in cost control and cost management to monitor budgets, track expenditures, and optimize project financial performance.
  • Experience in cost planning and forecasting to support budgeting, tendering, and long-term project financial strategies.
  • Skills in cost reporting, including preparing clear financial summaries, variance analyses, and progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, tender processes, and standard forms of measurement.
  • Ability to use relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost estimation tools, project management software) for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Effective communication skills in verbal and written form, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Previous experience in construction or infrastructure projects, especially in cost-related roles, is an advantage.
