Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment for multiple construction projects or tenders.
- Work with the tender/project team to support procurement activities.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather documents and understand procurement needs.
- Define scope of work and assist in preparing BOQ, tender documents, and project budgets.
- Perform quantity take off for projects/tenders.
- Assist in vendor communication, including clarifications and scope review.
- Analyze vendor submissions and support evaluation and negotiations.
- Ensure procurement documents are organized and updated according to ISO standards.
- Support change order processes and variation claims.
- Help manage project budgets and provide cost reports.
- Identify financial risks and ensure contract compliance.
- Support vendor sourcing and qualification.
- Maintain and update vendor databases.
- Promote efficiency and transparency in procurement processes.
- Embrace the use of digital tools and systems in procurement and cost management
Requirement:
- Able to read and interpret M&E drawings.
- Strong in quantity take off and cost estimating.
- Experience in both tender and post contract administration.
- Good understanding of construction processes and change orders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and analytical.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A team player with a proactive mindset.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with Min. 5 years of relevant work experience in quantity surveying or construction.
