Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

• Validate quantity claims submitted by vendors during the construction process.
• Monitor changes and Variation Orders (VO) and assess their impact on project costs.
• Support tender evaluation by preparing price comparisons and cost breakdowns.
• Monitor and ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and provide financial progress reports to the MK Lead.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, preferably with a Construction Management (MK) specialization.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in construction projects, preferably as a Quantity Surveyor (QS).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project (or equivalent), and Microsoft Office (or equivalent).
• Able to read and understand construction drawings, Bar Bending Schedules, and project schedules (S-Curve).
• Good understanding of RAB preparation, project timelines, and cost monitoring and control.
• Strong ability to calculate and validate material and work quantities accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• High level of responsibility and integrity.
• Willing and interested to work on-site/in the field.
