Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
Work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, finance and other teams across Guardian
Identify commercial risks, recommend risk strategies and maintain risk registers
Ensure compliance of safety, legal and regulatory requirements
Uphold all company policies, audit standards and internal controls
Collaborate with the Non-Trade Procurement and Projects teams to create bill of quantities, tender documentation and pricing schedules to evaluate supplier proposals
Assess contract variations, change orders, claims and ensure alignment with contract terms
Building and nurturing strong, collaborative relationships with contractors, at senior levels of their businesses to foster long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with Procurement and our Projects team to prepare detailed initial cost estimates and RFP's
Develop cost plans (budgets) based on drawings, specifications and marketing pricing
Manage cost negotiation and contract revisions during the construction project
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline
Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, HKIS, AIQS) preferred
5 or more years experience in construction, infrastructure, or fitout projects
Experience in both precontract and postcontract QS duties
Proficient in cost estimation models
Language in English and Bahasa
