Quant Analytics Associate

Job Description :

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, test and produce analytical and operational reports and metrics using SQL, SSRS, or equivalent reporting tools to assist the business in meeting operational objectives.
• Ensure adherence to internal policies and procedures and identify risks and controls within the operation.
• Adhereto technology architecture standards, technology risk management and security policies, and data management policies.
• Ability to independently review reports and develop analytical recommendations.
• Maintain and launch reports on a recurring basis, examining logic for alignment between multiple, dynamic data sources and business report requirements.

• 2+ years of managing resources and projects
• At least 2 years Development experience on RDMS such as SQL and Oracle
• At least 2 years Development experience on reporting tools such as SSRS, SSIS, Tableau
• Programming experience using VBA / Python (highly preferred)
• MS Office (required)
• Experience with compliance operations testing/production or process automation
• Experience in reviewing technical specifications, process improvement and process mapping
• Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and influence/execute change
• Demonstrated ability to positively interface with other departments, colleagues, and senior management

• Experience using SharePoint, JIRA and Business Intelligence tools
• Programming tools and/or Knowledge - R, PowerShell, scripting, etc.
• Knowledge in Home Lending LOB/functions

• Good communication skills (written and verbal in a clear/concise manner)
• Good time management and prioritization skills
