Job Overview
The Quality Team Member is responsible for conducting quality inspections, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with product specifications, process standards, and quality management systems. This role supports the achievement of consistent product quality by identifying non-conformities, supporting corrective actions, and promoting a strong quality culture across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods in accordance with established standards.
- Monitor process parameters and product characteristics to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Identify, document, and report non-conformities and quality deviations.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of quality documentation and records.
- Assist in internal and external audits, including ISO-related audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Process, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 25 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of quality tools, inspection methods, and measurement techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management documentation.
- Basic ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal, for reporting, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
