Job Summary:
A quality engineer ensures products and processes meet established standards by monitoring, testing, and implementing quality control systems. The quality engineer must be able to identify issues, recommend solutions, and create documentation related to quality.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitoring an entire production process and performing regular tests to identify potential problems and malfunctions in the early stages
- Inspecting raw materials and electrical systems to find defects and enhance durability
- Identifying the root causes of technical issues and performing debugging procedures or recommending fixes
- Preparing reports and documentations on malfunctions and corrective measures
- Reviewing product blueprints and quality documentations
- Setting and tracking assurance goals
- Coordinating with external Quality Assurance Auditors and Technicians to ensure legal compliance
- Working with internal teams to improve the quality of products for enhancing customer satisfaction
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a Engineering discipline or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
- Ability to work well in a team environment and individual
- Certified internal auditor of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), quality control plan and root cause analysis (5 Why and Fishbone diagram)
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose systemic issues and implement corrective actions (8D methodology)
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, documentation, and collaboration. Excellent verbal, read and written communication skills in Indonesian and English language, Mandarin is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail is crucial for identifying defects and ensuring accuracy.
- Computer Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, Gmail, G-Sheet, G-Docs, Minitab applications and data analysis software.
- Project Management: Ability to manage projects, timelines, and resources effectively.
