We're looking for a Quality Control Vehicle who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and passionate about maintaining high-quality standards throughout the vehicle inspection process.
About the Role
As a Quality Control Vehicle, you'll be responsible for ensuring vehicle quality through thorough inspection, measurement, and functional testing. You'll identify and evaluate defects across different vehicle components, perform various vehicle tests, and ensure inspection results meet the required standards and tolerances.
This role requires strong attention to detail, good technical understanding of vehicles, and the ability to identify quality issues accurately and consistently.
General Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor's degree (S1), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control, Inspection, PDI, or a related automotive field
- Good understanding of vehicle quality inspection, including visual, dimensional, and functional inspection
- Familiar with vehicle components, particularly body, interior, chassis, and powertrain
- Able to use dimensional measuring tools, precision measuring tools, and diagnostic tools
- Understanding of quality standards, measurement tolerances, and basic problem-solving methods
- Familiar with 7 QC Tools
- Able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with relevant teams
What You'll Do
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of vehicles according to established quality standards
- Conduct vehicle tests, including Truck Test, Water Leak Test, and Brake Test
- Identify and evaluate defects across body, interior, chassis, powertrain, and other vehicle components
- Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring tools and verify results against specified tolerances
- Use and verify dimensional measuring instruments and diagnostic tools to support the inspection process
- Record inspection results and document identified defects or quality issues
- Support problem-solving and quality improvement activities, particularly using 7 QC Tools
- Develop and follow operational standards, including SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) and Work Instructions (IK) related to vehicle quality inspection
- Coordinate with relevant teams regarding identified defects and follow-up actions
