Quality Control Supervisor

Our client, a leading electrical and wire harness manufacturing company in Batam, is looking for a QC Supervisor to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and schedule QC inspectors across IQC, IPQC, FQC, and OQC, ensuring accurate inspections and timely product release.
• Ensure QC activities comply with Control Plans, engineering drawings, specifications, Work Instructions, ISO standards, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate QC manpower, equipment, and documentation for NPI and mass production.
• Monitor and contain defects and non-conformities, while supporting QE in CAPA, root cause analysis, and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, and Fishbone.
• Conduct Layered Process Audits (LPA) and routine production testing, while ensuring QC equipment and tools are properly calibrated and maintained.
• Collaborate with QE, PE, Production, and other cross-functional teams on NPI, ORT, continuous improvement, and customer quality requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar QC/Quality Supervisor role.
• Certified ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949:2016 Internal Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and supervisory skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, Minitab, and data analysis tools.
• Good command of written and spoken Indonesian and English; Mandarin is a plus.
