Job Description

Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within a manufacturing company, including at least 2 years of experience in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager role.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001, as well as quality tools such as the 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D Report, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in handling quality issues, customer complaints, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, coaching, and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, will be considered an advantage.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Manage and supervise all Quality Control activities throughout the Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) production process to ensure products comply with company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Ensure Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection are conducted in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and the Quality Management System.
  • Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagram, and ensure the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Production, Engineering, and other related departments to improve product quality, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor Quality KPIs, analyze defect trends, prepare quality performance reports, and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), standard operating procedures, and support internal and external quality audits.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Quality Control team to enhance competency, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness.
