Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or other related engineering disciplines.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control (QC) or Quality Assurance (QA) within a manufacturing company, including at least 2 years of experience in a Supervisor or Assistant Manager role.
Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 9001, as well as quality tools such as the 7 QC Tools, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D Report, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in handling quality issues, customer complaints, and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
Demonstrated leadership, effective communication, coaching, and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel. Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP, will be considered an advantage.
Job Responsibilities :
Manage and supervise all Quality Control activities throughout the Semi-Finished Goods (SFG) production process to ensure products comply with company quality standards and customer specifications.
Ensure Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final Inspection are conducted in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and the Quality Management System.
Investigate quality issues using structured problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagram, and ensure the effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Collaborate closely with the Production, Engineering, and other related departments to improve product quality, reduce defects, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Monitor Quality KPIs, analyze defect trends, prepare quality performance reports, and provide recommendations for improvement to management.
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001), standard operating procedures, and support internal and external quality audits.
Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate the performance of the Quality Control team to enhance competency, productivity, and overall operational effectiveness.
