Minor Food is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a QA Specialist in Indonesia, eager to contribute to the growth of our business as a leading global F&B player.
Responsibilities
1. Product Quality Assurance (BAU)
- Execute QA processes for existing products and ingredients across brands
- Conduct supplier audits based on MINT Food Safety Audit Guidelines
- Monitor ingredient quality and support investigation of quality issues
- Coordinate corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Maintain and update ingredient specifications and QA documentation
2. Ingredient & Product Approval (NPD / Localization / Alternative Sourcing)
- Support QA validation of all new ingredients and products from:
- New Product Development (Marketing)
- Localization initiatives
- Alternative sourcing / cost optimization (SCM)
- Ensure all required QA checks, documentation, and specifications are completed prior to approval
- Coordinate closely with Marketing and SCM to ensure readiness for product launch
- Track approval status and ensure compliance before implementation
- Escalate high-risk or complex cases to Thailand HQ QA
3. Supplier Quality Management (SCM Integration)
- Support supplier onboarding and qualification processes
- Conduct supplier capability assessments (food safety and technical)
- Coordinate and execute supplier audits and follow up on improvement plans
- Maintain supplier QA records, performance tracking, and compliance documentation
4. Franchiser QA Compliance
- Ensure compliance with franchiser QA standards (e.g., International Dairy Queen, Gaga Thailand)
- Coordinate with franchiser QA teams for:
- Product and ingredient approvals
- Supplier validation
- Audit preparation and execution
- Ensure alignment between franchiser requirements, MINT standards, and local regulations
- Escalate any conflicts or gaps to HQ QA for resolution
5. Governance & Compliance
- Ensure all products, ingredients, and suppliers comply with:
- MINT QA standards
- Indonesia regulatory requirements (e.g., BPOM, Halal)
- Franchiser QA standards
- Support internal, regulatory, and franchiser audits
- Maintain proper documentation, traceability, and audit readiness
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
- 1–3 years in Quality Assurance, Food Safety, or related field
- Experience in QSR, food retail, or manufacturing is preferred
- Basic knowledge of food safety and quality systems
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Good command of English
