Lead QA Risk & Enterprise
Experience
- 5-8+ years in software quality engineering, with at least 2 years in a lead/senior capacity (formal or informal team leadership)
- Proven experience building or scaling test automation frameworks (web, API, and/or mobile) — WebdriverIO, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
- Experience in financial services, fintech, or other regulated/high-stakes domains preferred.
- Track record of driving measurable quality improvements
- Experienced in handling and reading TSD for system design reviews.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on scripting/programming ability (TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or Java)
- Deep understanding of test strategy: risk-based testing, test pyramid, shift-left practices
- API testing and contract testing experience
- CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
- Familiarity with performance/load testing
- Comfortable reading/reviewing code and participating in architecture discussions with engineering
Leadership & Process
- Experience defining or evolving QA/QE career tracks, competency frameworks, or estimation guidelines
- Ability to build and present metrics/dashboards for quality health to engineering leadership
- Experience managing team
- Strong stakeholder management. Able to negotiate quality gates with product/engineering without becoming a bottleneck
- Jira/Confluence fluency for workflow design, reporting, and documentation
Soft Skills
- Pragmatic: prioritizes team velocity and onboarding ease over theoretical framework purity
- Clear written communicator (Confluence docs, exec summaries)
- Comfortable pushing back on unrealistic timelines with data-backed justification
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-assisted QA/dev workflows (Claude, Copilot, etc.) and measuring their efficiency impact
- Chaos engineering or resilience testing exposure
- Prior experience in banking-grade systems (ledger, payments, risk platforms)
