Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and reusable automation scripts using Katalon Studio and Python.
- Perform API, Web, and Mobile automation testing using Katalon and Python-based frameworks.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous validation.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
- Analyze test results, detect issues, and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain proper test data, environment setup, and test reporting.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure end-to-end quality coverage.
- Proactively contribute ideas for improvement of QA processes, tools, and technologies.
- Mentor or guide junior QA team members (if applicable).
Requirement
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience as QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong experience in Katalon Studio (Web, Mobile, API automation).
- Proficient in Python programming for automation or testing purposes.
- Understanding of Test Automation Frameworks, Scripting, and Debugging.
- Experience with API Testing tools (Postman, Katalon API, Python Requests).
- Good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiar with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Able to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
