Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing automation test scripts using Java, Python, and JavaScript. This role involves designing and executing automated tests for web, API, and mobile applications, ensuring stability and reliability by integrating automation suites into the CI/CD pipeline. You will analyze defects, prepare detailed test documentation, and provide improvement recommendations to development and product teams.

Additionally, you are expected to effectively utilize Katalon Studio (minimum 2 years experience) to support efficient and scalable automation processes. Collaboration with developers, manual QA, and product teams is essential to ensure optimal test coverage and contribute to continuous improvement of QA practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience using Katalon Studio.
• Must be proficient in Java, Python, and JavaScript for automation scripting.
• Experienced with automation tools/frameworks such as Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing methodologies.
• Ability to create test scenarios, test cases, and comprehensive test plans for automation.
• Familiar with version control systems like Git (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
• Strong experience in API Automation and Web UI Automation.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team with good communication skills.
